You should be just fine, assuming you're not pushing it too hard as it is. The X1950 Pros are pretty efficient.
Cheers. Is this definitely the card to go for. I will be using an Opteron 165 @ 2.7ish with 2GB of memory. Will the rest of my set up be the limiting factor and might I be able to get away with a cheaper card. I am hoping to be able to play Bioshock, Crysis etc at decent resolution,detail etc..
Will I need any special adapter as I have read something about this needing two PSU connections.
Bearing in mind I only have a 17" monitor is it worth going for the 512mb, ahead of the 256? Also I have a Hiper 580 PSU, which I assume will be sufficient. The only thing is I have lost all the extra cables that come with the PSU. Do the cards sold by OCUK have all the cables/connectors I will need.

The 256 version would do just fine at 1280x1024. The Hiper is powerful enough but lately that model has been exploding a lot (search the forums for "Hiper"). Now would be the time to upgrade if you're considering it. If not you can hang onto it. I haven't a clue about the cables.
