Hi bought my x1950 pro a few months back now installed the 7.1 cat's for it and been really happy with it ever since, that was untill this morning I turn on the pc it gets to the point where the log in screen should display but the monitor goes into standby, so I restart and go safe mode check eventviewer and see errors relating to graphics driver so I uninstall and reinstall expecting that should solve it, nope....

Have done a few searches and it seems people with crt monitors have had this problem but the difference is they had it from day 1, I cant get my head around why it would suddenly start to do this 3 months after I installed the card I've since tried 7.2 and 7.3 cats and the original drivers on the cd and all have the same problem.

Can anyone shed any light on this or has anyone managed to find a work around or is it simply a case that I am going to be forced to buy an LCD display?

Edit* Forced VGA mode and browsed a few forums etc, then thought hell I'll give it one more try and the F*$%&"$ thing worked fine :D
I really dont understand this at all :s
