This isn't the pro dual, with 2 pro chips, but just a straight x1950pro with 1gb of vram!

Now you have to ask.. for over £230 what the heck is the point of that? Secondly, surely the extra memory isn't actually worth over £130 extra.

Honestly, there is no mention of 2 cores/chips, only 1 chip. The only mention of 'dual' is dual dvi. I'm sorry I can't prove this as I can't mention the site (even though no-one is likely to by it - except the mentally insane)

Yeah I understand that but there are often a few giveaways. Firstly, the price - £230 is just over the price of a pair of X1950 Pros. Second, if you take the manufacturer code from the site and research, you'll find it's actually the X1950 Pro Dual. Third, they never made a 1GB X1950 Pro!!! :)

is the 1950pro dual any good ?

Id imagine a dual gpu 1950xt to be rather awesome, but not the pro ?

Its actually very good, it competes against the 8800GTX in some games. Also in some games it get over double fps of a single card 1950pro.

Yeah your right, I did think about it being a mistake at that price but didnt go any further. Ati/partners are known to release late products like this so thought it might be worthy of attention.

It still aint worth the money though, 8800GTS 640mb would be a better choice, as only in some games does the dual compete with the GTX, in a lot of others the GTS is above, its also longer than a GTX, wider, and proberbly is very hot.
