X1950pro AGP Owners - Anyone running fine without issue?

timmy1988 said:
Tesh what psu(s) did u use?
if u have been through 2 of them with the same problems chances r it isnt the card

im using a 420w and it runs fine on it.

this might be a stupid question but do u have the card plugged in2 the psu with a 6 pin connector?

I tried both cards on a Seasonic S12 430W and a Jeantech 450W PSU, connecting directly to the PCI-e connectoer.

I tested in two different computers to ensure it was not a motherboard issue.

It looks like im seeing quite a few mixed responses here. It is good to know that there are people who are having no issues. I am almost tempted to give a third card a try. However dont want to spend more time/petrol driving to OCUK returning for RMA if i have more problems

On my second PCI-E x1950pro connect3d still has issues.

going back to XP to rule out driver error, just got a new PSU :(

Running a HIS 512 card, powered by a 420W Antec via an adapter. No problems so far. Mostly running fsx and company of heroes. All PCI slots used up, 2 hard disks and a single optical drive. Using C&Q when only surfing. cant b.a. overclocking it right now as everything runs at a good enough speed so far, although fsx seems to be a dog at times. All in all, very good.

my HIS 256meg agp is running fine, using an enermax 585watt. play mostly gtr2, source, farcry, fear, race. havent unlocked it and probably won't. i just used driver cleaner did'nt do a fresh install after taking my 6800gt out and i'm running catalyst+control centre v6.12.

Had a few problems with mine, i was just about to RMA it but people on here convinced me to try another psu. Been rock steady for a few days since i upgraded my psu from a crappy 550w brand to a corsair 620w. Seems to have done the trick.
