x1950Pro Install - simple question

I am swapping out my PCI Nvidia Geforce 6200 for an x1950pro. The only 'manual' in the box just tells me how to install on XP or 2000 (and seems exceedingly obvious - install card then run the CD). Three questions:

1. do I need to uninstall the Nvidia software and drivers first. Would prefer not to just in case something doesn't work about my new kit.

2. any particular issues with Vista? (the box confirms that the card is compatible, but the installation instructions don't cover it.)

3. should I have a manual?

I am running Vista Home Premium with a C2D and GA-965P-DS3P just in case any of that matters.

Thanks, just what I wanted to know. Just to be really thick... Do I uninstall Nvidia Drivers from control panel before cleaning or does Drive Cleaner do all that?

Edit: sorry the answer is clear from the readme file!

Still not properly installed:

1. Device manager shows 2 display adapters:
Radeon X1950 Pro
Radeon X1950 Pro Secondary
Is that normal given that the card can drive 2 displays?

2. The supplied disk would not install - said "setup was unable to complete the installation. Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup. (Which is where I started from).

3. So I let Windows detect the hardware and find the drivers on the CD. That appeared to work. Device Manager tells me I am using 8.342.0.0 dated 2/2/07.
The manufacturers site has a 2k/xp/vista driver on their site which appears from the filename to be v5.9. The disk that came with my (OcUK 1950Pro 512Mb) card today has printed on it "v7.2_20070301". So I reckon I have the latest drivers - unless you know different!

4. I do not have any ATI specific software (or a manual for my card) - do I need Catalyst or similar?
