x1950pro psu

****, problem, the card complains the pci-x power connector isnt in when it is. even with the better psu with the supported ampage., it seems really unlucky to get a duff card after waiting 3 months for a replacement (the psu is from ocuk the card is from DO NOT QUOTE COMPETITORS ,READ THE FAQbtw)

anyways afai can see its either the card or the mobo. Am using a geforce 5750 pcix so the slot seems to be ok although it isnt a card that requires a power connector. any thoughts? cheers :(

sounds like a duff card, but you might be better trying another card in the mobo to make sure the slot is ok. my 1950 pro works fine using the 420w psu which came in my aspire x-qpack using an adapter
