x1950PRO Query

I have a lowly x1950pro AGP 512 mb and at the moment it can play games for about 10 mins before my system just hangs or goes to sleep kind of and I have to turn off power and back onto get my pc up and running.

Maybe the card is dead? It has an accelero cooler, but I want to try and get it working. I know it's not driver issue as I've reintalled windows and tried various drivers.

Does anyone know of applications that can control the fan of this product?

What bout a BIOS flash? I have never done one of those before so any guidance is welcomed.

Install ATITool and monitor how hot it gets.

Fan speed is at 41% and temps are 46C when am just doing general desktop stuff.

take it out and vacuum all the dust out of it.

I'd highly advise against this, as the static that can be created by a vacuum could potentially break your card.
