I'm currently looking to upgrade my Powercolor X1600 Pro 256 Extreme Edition (X1650 chip set I think) card and I'm looking at the X1950 series. Now I've stumbled across 2 which are similar price, GeCube X1950XT (256) and the HIS X1950Pro (512) IceQ 3 Turbo. Both of which are around the £140 mark. Considering the XT range is of a higher spec than the Pro, what benifits does the IceQ 3 range have?

I'm got dual monitors, my main being a 19" widescreen on 1400x900max and a 19" (normal) running 1280x1024. I do play a few games (normally got a fps and a drive sim on pc at any one time) but would like to be future proofed for at least a year. Also I've just noticed that when playing TOCA 3 i get a few black chunks flash on the screen (not all the time) as well as screen flicker on my 2nd display. Could my current card be on the way out? It's only 7 months old
