x1950xt now in 6months Upgrade 2 dx10 can i use In xfire?????

Hey all.....if i build a 2k system now with a xfire board and buy a x1950xt. Could i upgrade when the new dx10 cards come out and use the x1950xt and the new dx10 in xfire?
 
I wouldnt have thought so, don't think you can mix card models. And skip on the x1950, get the x1900 instead ;)
 
Definately not, x1950 is only DX9, and as above, just get the HIS SILENT x1900 XT (for the same cooler as the x1950), clock it to x1900 XTX speeds and it will be 1-2fps slower in games than the x1950 XTX, but you'll save a shed load of cash. :D
