x1950xtx cooling

Im thinking about changing my x1950xtx stock cooler with a zalman vf900 (thats
if it will fit a 1950xtx) and i was wondering if the ram heatsinks that come with the cooler will be good enough to cool the ram on the card?

Yep, should run much cooler. And looks better, and is virtually silent at a low rpm. Great product.

i got vf900cu on my card but its not a x1950xt so the stock cooler was different.

im running the memory bare since i did not have any heatsinks at the time i put the zalman on. but i have some now and will fit next time im in the case.

Hmm, I wouldn't bother changing it tbh,

The X1950 has a heatpipe cooler, :confused:

If you want it the be Quiet then get the Zalman.

But remember to post before and after results for Temps
