HI there

Well considering AMD stopped making these chips sometime ago, we have recently been influxed with distributors across Europe literally giving them away and as such we just keeping taking them and lowering our prices.

Its amazing how a product thats not been made for such a long time still keeps appearing. Either AMD are still secretly making them or people have been finding stocks they never knew they had.

Either way I preferre to just keep passing the lower prices on and keep the stock moving nice and fast. :)

I read on AMD's site today on an FAQ that they will keep making 939 products as long as there is consumer demand for them.

Its a shame they aren't actively developing new products on the platform..... :(

Anything between 2.6 to 2.9Ghz

Do a search there are stacks of recent threads on this Headrat m8. Lots of them have a complete list of settings and screenshots.

Regards

Yeah me too, mine isn't clocking too well the computer switches off at 2.2Ghz+ when running Orthos :(

Thats either really unlucky or something is badly wrong. Have you checked the usual suspects like BIOS upgrades, seating of heatsink, general airflow around the case, RAM timings etc.....

Doubt its the PSU. Thats a good one you got there. Try the RAM timings. Slacken them right off and make sure its 2T and see if you can get the CPU up from there. If it still refuses you have been unlucky with the chip you bought unfortunately.
