x2 3800+ dual core optimisers and drivers questions

Moving from 3500+ to x2 3800+ i should be ok with not having to reinstall windows etc. But bit confused what windows and amd drivers i need (links plz) and when i should install em, before or after etc?

Can someone help with letting me know what i need so im optimised with dual core etc and the procedure when swaping cpu over as in when to install or disable drivers etc.

Have a wounder over google and search amd dual core battlefield 2, see if u get any results. Or try official bf2 forums. Maybe theres a patch for bf2 u need that helps it?

Best off selling ** ram and getting 2x 1gb sticks of dual channel ram. Works a treat for me on current setup atm.

Defo might be cause of the crashes in games then if its getting that high up. Put the volts down perhaps or lower the clock.

What type of paste and did you use a thin layer not a thick layer should be paper thin on cpu only.
