Have a problem at work, we have an order for 8 PCs with the spec below, 4 have been built. The PCs wont POST with the X2's in the case, they sometimes work on the motherboard tray bridging the pins, but not in the cases, even bridging the pins. The strange thing is they work with single core processors, and motherboard has power to it with no CPU but is dead with it in. :confused:

We have tried swapping around 6 motherboards, 6 processors and 6 PSUs, motherboards have latest BIOS, and we are at a loss. We are ordering a different motherboard to try on Tuesday, hopefully people on here will have some ideas.

Have the 24 pin and 4 pin connected, have tried with and without PCI cable, we have even tried with a PCI graphics card, nothing else is plugged in as we disconnected everything else to make sure it wasn't that preventing them booting.

It's a good point about the HT though I will try that tomorrow.
