On the Expert & Venus you need to add 8-10c to whatever smart guardian is telling you as the temp sensor on these boards is a mile out.If you go into bios and under health monitoring it lets you alter the temp sensor so it's best to add 8-10c then it will read correct in smart guardian.

I know I have done that already & has been ajusted, but i thought you might like a pic of my cooling:

There is no way those temps are right, I would get another proggy if I were you. It is impossible that you are not in your 50's or more with a stock cooler. You may damage your chip.

those temps are right, smartguardian has been ajusted to and i have good cooling, you be surprised x2 cpu's can go upto 70-75c in temps, just on amd hsf.

I use to have that motherboard you got in your sig & hsf, very good boards, inc. your artic freezer, but theres not much difference between the cooling i have and your arctic freezer.
