I've been looking into getting an X2 for a while now, but after having some dam right frustrating times overclocking my 7950gt id like to get a nice aftermarket cooler. Cant seem to find one though, but the other 3800's seem to have more than enough coolers to pick from.

Question is , would it be worth getting two 3870 with aftermarket coolers for a more stable system / overclock, or sticking with the generic X2 cooling and waiting for a cooler for it or 'inventing' one myself which is a rather interesting challenge....?

There are currently no aftermarket X2 coolers other than the massivly expensive waterblocks (~£85).

Saying that the X2 really doesn't need to be overclocked to perform well, and overclocking the card really doesn't benefit the card that much.
