X2 owners - Need 4870X2 drivers

Being as people seem to be ignoring me asking in X2 threads i'm having to start this thread...

My X2 did not come with a drivers CD. The 8.7 drivers from ATI's site will not install.

So can some PLEASE upload the Vista x64 drivers and link to them, they should be on the drivers CD that comes with the card.

and what do you mean the 8.7s won't install? Does it give you an error?

No error, just says it's done, restart and the display drivers are not installed. Someone had similar problems and only got it working with the drivers on the CD.

Have tried the 8.8 BETA's and they crash.

8.7's don't support the X2's, the only drivers that will work on them, are the ones on the CD and the leaked 8.8 beta's (which may be the same drivers).

Did you run driversweeper after uninstalling the drivers of whatever other card you had installed before.


Which manufacturer is it? Should have come with a driver cd! wtf!

It's a Powercolor card. I think it's a one off mistake though.
And it's a clean Vista install.


Wheres all the X2 owners? busy playing with there card?

goto msi or HIS site then download the driver...
