x2 releasing one week earlier?

Very nice, hopefully they can get this out and get some good drivers to go with it and show nvidia how its done ;)

If I do get one it'd probably be later in the year - will wait it out and see how these perform, would like to avoid a new psu but if it comes to it then I'd have to plumb for a meatier model.
 
Notice that it says 4 processor crossfire on selected boards. I'd be very very surprised if you could Crossfire these on anything short of a X38 with Dual 16x Slots.

Excuse me? lol...I'm running an overclocked 2900xt in the system below and my 520w corsair doesn't even break a sweat.
 
I managed to power an overclocked 9800pro, 2 optical drives, 2 hard drives and 2 120mm fans and quite a big cpu cooler off an unbranded power supply that was about 230watts. I had the case and supply for many years.

However when gaming or benching strange things would happen like drives would turn off, blue screens etc. I got a hiper 580r and my comp is so much more stable now
 
The corsairs are supposed to be superior to rival products with the same wattage or so i read. The 620W flagship at the time was tested with an overclocked Q6600 and 8800GTX SLI set up and ran for 2 weeks without a problem. Take it with a pinch of salt though.
 
Gonna be waiting with baited breath on this. Unfortunately i dont get paid till the 31st (last thursday of every month) so will have to wait a bit.
Should be interesting to see the launch price for this, hoping for it to be around the 250-270 mark, but knowing us in the UK it will be nearer the 300 mark.
