x2 xbox 360 controllers

how do you connect both controllers to the xbox 360, ive tried to turn on the 2nd controller on but it doesnt connect straight away.

Press the button on the console opposite the cd tray, and then the button on top of the controller. That will make them recognise each other. After that its a case of keeping your finger on the globe for about 5 seconds so its turned on.

If you look on the front of the 360, below the CD Tray, there is the black IR receiver window, then 2 memory slots (A and B), then a little round button with 3 little curved lines next to it.. that's the sync button

1. Make sure the controller is on, press and hold the back and start buttons until the green lights on the controller flash
2.Press the sync button on the console for a second or so, release
3.On the back of the controller, between LB and RB is the same round button, press that for a second or so, the controller green lights should flash, then only one light up when it's connected!..

but my mate cannot sign in, we only want to have a game of gears of war and i cannot sign him in.

please help!

Its pretty straight forward, are you playing co-op? Press the globe and choose the appropriate account?

i can sign in but he cannot, it wont let him sign in because he hasnt registered with xbox live, does this matter? he hasnt got the net at home, can he created another account as he hasnt registered his console yet?

Just get your mate to create a profil on the 260 via GoW menu and should be fine

lol can't explain it much more low level than that tbh

On GOW, it says Y to sign in you need to do so on both controllers. Even if you make up 2 profiles doesn't have to be a live account. Hope that helps, pretty much explains that ingame.
