I purchased my Acer X34 back in December 2015, so I've had it for close to a year now. I fell in love with it, just brilliant. But it has a couple of QA issues that have been annoying me more and more as time goes by.

The two main issues are the bezel coming unstuck from the panel at the bottom, leaving an unsightly gap. And the fact that mine will only run properly at 95hz, with my 980ti, any higher and it's starts flickering. Other than these two points it's been great.

Is it worth, or even still possible, to return it for a fix / replacement? Or maybe sell it and take a loss for the X34A or the Asus one?

If your panels bezel is actually coming away from the screen then I don't see why that wouldn't be covered by the warranty, how bad is it?, do you have a picture? Also with regards to the 95hz vs 100hz your really not missing out there, beside the issue with the bezel if your panel has no dead pixels and panel uniformity, backlight bleed etc is ok then really don't think it would be worth changing tbh.

Flickering is a nvidia driver issue with gsync, but don't rule out monitor issue.

These faults aren't drastic, but they are irritating, especially considering the price of these things. You're right, I'm not helping myself asking here. I need to contact Acer and see what the options are. Although I may end up putting it on the MM and taking the loss.

Let me know what acer say, i am interested to see what their support is like for the X34.. from what I have read before I am not very hopeful about it.
