X34A and an annoying problem

Hi All

Little bit of advice needed just installed my X34a and 1080 GTX. Monitor works wonderfully OC to 95Mhz, but after only 2 hours of use I was showing the Division to my daughter and she touched the screen with her finger. So now I have a finger print on the screen that’s only a little right of centre (Daughter banished to a special level of hell for people who do this ). I know it’s only really noticeable when the screen is off but it’s something that is annoying. I only suffer from OCD when it comes to my PC.

So should I clean the fingerprint (and if so what with) or just leave it in case trying to clean it just makes it worse?

Cheers

There are cheap LCD screen cleaning kits on the rain-forest that consist of a little mist spray bottle and a microfiber cloth... I use one called 'eco moist'. That will do the job perfectly. :)

Did I really just read a thread saying there is a fingerprint on monitor and should I clean or leave it?

Don't know what's worse. The OP actually posting something so banal, or people replying to it. Or people like us pointing out how banal it is.

I've just taken a bite of toast. Should I chew it or just swallow?

That's what she said... ;)

Sorry, purile joke. General tip; if you or anyone in your house has glasses and got a cleaning cloth with them, that'll do a fine job of cleaning marks of your LCD screens. I do actually understand why the OP might want to check, because the world is full of idiots with streaky screens because they used abrasive cleaners on them :)

Better to chew first, then swallow.

Thank you my friend. Now, perhaps you or the Internet can help me with another dilemma. At some point in the future I may need to visit the toilet to make the bad brown. Should I remove my trousers AND my smaller 'under trousers' before I commence action?

No just wear big baggie pants to catch it

You have to leave the finger prints on there otherwise the monitor will stop working if you clean it.
