Hi there,

Its a weird ask I know, but someone was telling me about the "quick release" connector on the Xbox360 controller.

Could someone take a picture of it and explain how it works and what its for?

Thanks.

I think you on about the wierd controller. At the end of the cable, near the USB plug there's an extra connector. It comes apart easily if pull or trip over the cable.

It's for clumsy people who catch the cable when they walk past, it pulls apart instead of pulling your console/controller on the floor.

OK I have no idea but perhaps it's this?

Connector on wired controllers. So when you pull the controller the cable snaps/disconnects at a point on the cable to you don't pull your 360 and damage it.

Otherwise I have no idea lol

EDIT: Beaten to it :p
