Whilst playing AC2 my X360 has decided to play games with me. It appears as if the saturation has gone out of whack (everything is dark and green-tinted).

I've plugged both ends of the VGA cable back in and I know for sure it's not the monitor (am using it for the PC right now).

Anyone have any ideas or is this a precursor to something nastier?

Oh dear. I've managed to kill a Jasper box in 7 months!

Still within the one year store warranty so I'll go and grab a replacement tomorrow. If I keep my HDD will I need to do anything with my installed games or will they work 'out of the box'?

All Xboxs have 3 years warrenty with Microsoft, so you have ages left if another one breaks to get it fixed.

Saying that i'm not sure.

My brother and I both got a XBOX 360 Elite at the same time but some different companies. While he got the new ELITE model and I got the older one (where it comes with Component cable / HDMI and etc)

We both did our warranty and he had 3 years and mine only had one year!

What gives?

Hooray for Currys.

Despite telling me at the point of purchase that I would be offered the same one year walk-in walk-out warranty as other vendors (or I would not have purchased from them in the first place), they're now claiming they will only offer to have the console repaired.

Surely if they told me I had a year walk-in walk-out warranty that's what they're going to have to give me?

When you register it for repair from MS, they will give you the 3 years warranty as long as it's E74 of 3RROD, otherwise it's 1 year, which is displayed on your registered console page in xbox.com from my experience with 2 different 360s.
