Ill add you tonight for a game, ive only played one game online, but won in a tight game 2-1.

I absolutely love it, you can pick up and play for 5-10 minutes and its fantastic.

Using Liu Ping, go three big steps to the right, then a little one (if it doesn't do it automatically). Aim to the other side of the table with max left spin and high power. They should miss it completely.

lol i do exactly the same thing, was just about to say it on here! Seems like cheating but it really isnt. Shame it doesnt work aswell online...

Anyone up for some games tonight? I saw you on Rob but as soon as i started the game up your signed off.
 
Guys, I waswondering if I could get some help on this game.

I have managed to beat easy with one character but I am really strugling. Any help? Also, I don't fully understand the focus meter. To build it up, it says in the manual to hold a spin button when the ball starts coming towards you, but I found that pressing it as soon as you have hit your previous shot is essential to build the bar up and get enough angle on it. But doing this stops you moving around, smashing etc!

HELP!
 
You just need to try and get in position as early as possible - this gets progressively harder as the opposition gets better. But rememeber the more set you are behind the ball the better your return will be.

My advice is get plenty of practice, and I turned off the auto reply thing as this really upset my timing.
 
Been playing this for the last couple of days on and off and it is really addictive!!

Been playing online a fair bit and its great fun.

We need to get some OCUK action on this and maybe a mini league :cool:
 
I got this yesterday, well my dad did and we had a blast playing 2 player!

Very easy to pick up but would take a long time to get really good at it!
 
Im beginning to really hate this game. No matter what i do i just cant beat Jesper at the end of the first tournament. Just managed to win my first ever game 11-6 against him and then lost the next 2 games 0-11, 4-11 and so i lost the match. I just cant really stomach playing it anymore.
 
If there is some interest in this thread we could set one up, would be a laugh....

P.S noob question coming up, what's a shutout? I have got some but not sure exactly what they are does it mean you win without losing a point?

Yes a shutout is when you win and the opponent does not score a point.

I'd be interested in a OCUk league for this as well, I would offer to set up a thread, but I suck at making threads :p

If we get say 10 people put their names down in this thread then I'm sure we could start something up. It would be a good crack.
 
I'd happily join some sort of league although a) I'm rubbish and b) I'm quite strapped for time over the next three weeks.
