X470 WOES uefi error

Having tried all known to mankind to get this damm thing to boot without the blue screen of death UEFI errors, I changed the bios battery and all is well.
Stupid but true.
Just posted in case someone else gets this problem.

I had boot issues with my x99, would take 4-5 tries to get it to boot. It did not blue screen, changing battery fixed it.

Did you try clearing the CMOS first, changing the battery will have reset everything to defaults providing you had the power disconnected.

The battery was the cause, i did reset the cmos to no joy - only the new battery solved it.
