are the x48 mobos, better than the p45's, what are the different chip sets used for?

also
why is this mobo like 50 pound cheaper than the rest

Well as far as i can tell they're pretty similar except for the fact x48's have the dual 16x pci-e slots for crossfire. However it is said that P45 boards are the better overclockers. Other than that i know of no other real difference.

About spot on there, the P45's do clock the quads better on average (imho)

so if its a dual core and quad its a X58
quad and single gpu card ( 2 gpu's on 1 card counts as 1) then P45

Well, my experience with my foxconn blackops has been nothing short of amazing.
If you are looking for an x48 board, i would recommend that to your face.

Just make sure you update to the latest bios. I did it with the foxupdate...
