X48 vs P45 for non overclocker

Can't make my mind up between these 2. I have read a couple of reviews that state the standard performance of the X48 is better (higher fps) than the P45 but the X48 is much more expensive.

I am not interested in overclocking (too much hassle in the past) but I would appreciate your comments.

X48 is only really to be considered if you're going to be running 2 ATI cards in Crossfire. If not then a P35 or P45 board is more than enough.
