Which setup will get the fastest SuperPi time??
Pictures of the result will be posted tom. (Just a bit of fun using the server at work...Bored and nothing on TV :p )

5160 specs.
Dual core 3GHz (Standard)
Bus Speed: 1333
Cache: 4mb
Cost today: ?550+

2160 specs.
Dual core 1.8GHz (OC to 3.2GHz on air)
Bus Speed: 800
Cache: 1mb
Cost today: ?63

I've no idea what the 5160 specs are apart from the allocated core (1 core @ 3GHz) and memory (768mb) as its a virtual workstation.

See my sig for 2160 specs (355 fsb * 9, with 4,4,4,12 memory)
This is a stable OC not a suicide shot...

It was close but the 5160 wins by a holeshot... (No giant killing here)
Not a bad result for a budget CPU though...

Note:
Standard superPi was used due to the mod version crashing on the VM.

I think it?s the extra cache rather than anything else??

The virtual machine/server is used for numerical modelling so I guess the superPi score is fairly relevant...
