So I was on the lookout of an X56 and noticed that it was nigh on impossible to get one.
Some people on ebay putting them on for ridiculous amounts of money.

However just last night I stumbled across the Spicy electrical shop and they had plenty of these in stock.... so I snapped on up and low and behold will be delivered tomorrow!

Im just left wondering whats the catch.... since its still showiing as OOS on many sites and Logitechs site as well...

might be old stock that was made under saitek i.e blue livery on stick before logtiech rebranded ?

I think you just got lucky TBH. Shipments come in regularly, but they sell out fast (I just had a look on that site, and it's now OOS again).

Just want to say that stock on any of the saitek/logitech devices must be seriously low. I've just had a warranty claim accepted at logitech for a faulty X52, but he's told me it'll be 2-3 weeks until a replacement can be sent as X52 is OOS. I offered to up pay for the X52 PRO, but that's also OOS. Things must be really low when the manufacturer can't sent out warranty replacements.

And nearly 2 months after that post I've just received my warranty replacement. I could write an essay on the process but it comprised of:-

1) 25 emails sent and received. A maximum of one per day, and often no reply for 2-3 days.
2) Agreed to replacement...no replacement available...2 weeks later...agreed to replace with an X56, expect tracking no. within 48hrs
3) a week later, no tracking number, emailed. Can't send to my address due to Brexit changes. (So they just weren't going to tell me ?)
4) Want to send a cash refund, but the price has gone up a lot, anyhow I agree, it's gonna cost me money to get the replacement now.
5) Can't send me money, has to go to the person on the invoice, this was a gift. So now i have to contact that person get them to confirm to logitech who they are and then to receive money and send it to me.
6) Note that towards the start of the process they knew my address and they knew the invoice was not in my name, at this point.... I'm at my wits end
7) finally, got them to agreed to ship to a different UK address, and then I arranged for it to be posted using royal mail to get it to me.

Definitely the worst and most long drawn out customer experience I've had.

Only thing missing is shipping shenanigans with wrong address or going missing.

BTW, does X52 have some actual springs to not tilt from just staring it too hard?
IIRC it was X36 which I handled couple times years ago and could swear you could move it around just by breathing near it.
It literally didn't have any real resistance for moving it around.
Though guess Logitech would understand to use springs even if Saitek didn't understand to do it...

That sounds a nightmare...

Never had to RMA anything Logitech before. Sounds like they dont have a UK RMA centre?

I'm still driving my x55 you'll love the x56, only problem my x55 isn't natively supported by fs2020 I have to manually do the bindings. I really like the throttle and stick and all the switches/buttons etc and looks a lot better made than most

Just had a look at the spicy electrical shop and yeah it does seem that is not as blue as it was before and certainly does have the Logitech logos on, can you change the LED colour behind the throttle switches and joystick hats, works be cool if you could, maybe they're the 'blue' part? Still a great joystick
