Slightly over budget but if you can wait a little bit the X570 tomahawk
if you follow the thread last ETA was 3rd June so if they get enough stock for all preorder your end next week to be honestDepends on how long is the problem as I'm in need of a replacement asap.

The elite is out of stock, the other is the tough gaming , could ring and ask robbieG what best price on the Bgrade one is My basket at Overclockers UK:
Not sure of what thread you speak off but the Gigabyte Aorus Elite any good?

I was going to get the elite but would have also needed wifi card so help off for the tomahawk.
All within that thread mate, RobbieG and the MSI rep have been excellentAh right that thread, I will take a peak at the Elite and see if I can find some reviews. How did you get the pre-order data, otherwise I wouldn't mind going for the Tomahawk.
All within that thread mate, RobbieG and the MSI rep have been excellent, other retailers will get stock of the board but none have it up for preorder yet, if you keep an eye out you might be able to get an order elsewhere , but not everone will do it as preorder

Stock due next week (hopefully) but already 57 preorders on the books so could be a longer wait, or if wifi isn't a massive issue then the Aorus elite is also a good shout
I was choosing between the Aorus Elite and the Asus Tuf.
Pleased enough with my Asus Tuf so far.
Not sure if I can wait till when said release date for the Tomahawk and torn between the TUF and Elite, both very similar so I guess it's down to price.

Aorus Elite is very well balanced for its price and has overkill level VRM to take any coming 16 core Zen3.
Also its chipset cooler is capable to semi passive cooling with good size heatsink.
So X570's bad point of that chipset fan isn't big in it and neither would fan failure cause instantly excessive/overheating level chipset temps.
Asus again uses design from 15 year ago with small heatsink relying on always running fan to keep chipset cool.
Just came across the the Asrock X570 Extreme4 that's on offer currently, any good when compared to the TUF and Elite.
It's basically the same board as the steel legend I think. It's decent, but unless it's significantly cheaper, I'd pick the Elite or Tuf ahead of it.
I think the TUF is going to be my choice so unless a confirmed release on the Tomahawk is announced anytime now I will be ordering this tomorrow.
