X58 Asus Sabertooth - Memory

Any memory that does or doesnt work with this board? I need low stuff to fit under my HUGE Heatsink. Am I ok sticking 1.65v through my x58 board to memory? This is the heatsink they have to fit under Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler.

These Geil are on special offer, however will they fit under heatsink? The stuff in at min is 3gb OCZ kit and they have small heatsinks.

1.65V for X58 is fine.

I would give the OCZ memory a miss. Rightly or wrongly their Gold memory has a poor reputation in this forum. OCZ are also now out of the RAM market so it's just their old stock which is being sold.

The Geil memory is as low profile as your going to find. It should be the same size as your current OCZ RAM. I have Geil RAM in my Sandybridge builds and it runs without any problems.

The Geil kit you've linked to isn't the one on TWO. You want this one:

The Geil RAM will run happily at 1.5-1.6V
