I am looking at buying the Asus P6T motherboard.

I currently have a X38 DDR Motherboard with 2 x 1Gb OCZ Platinum DDR3 modules. These are OCZ part number OCZ3P13331G. (OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 / 1333MHz / Platinum Edition)

My question is, can I just buy one more of these 1Gb modules and then run them as triple-channel?

Seems a waste to ditch the 2Gb I have since they cost so much in the first place, and I don't need 64-bit Vista just yet, so 3Gb will be fine.

Cheers!

Well there was a second hand module going for 26 quid, so I thought stuff it, may as well give it a go...

I normally get my stuff from OCUK, but the prices for the P6T and the i7-920 are a bit over the top compared to elsewhere at the moment - any reason for this? I mean I'm talking about 60 quid more for the 2 than most other places?

I can answer my own question on this now!

I bought the other 1Gb and it all works just fine in triple channel mode...
