So ive just built a new pc with the Gigabyte X58-UD3R mobo and am using the onboard sound. I have 5.1 creative speakers but the 2 rear speakers aren't working with media player/itunes and any other audio.
The weird thing is I know they are working because when I test the speakers in the Realtek HD Audio software the rear speakers work.
I'm pretty confused and help is grateful.
*edit* im running windows 7 maybe its something to do with that?
I'm sure i remember something about having to set up sound in windows media somewhere... can't remember enough though
