Hey guys I've got a Xeon 5650 at 4@2 won't go much higher and I've been getting Nvidia driver not responding and black screen a bit latly getting annoyed by is it so thinking of buying all new seems to run ok when I only have 3 stick of ram in 6gb if I go upto 12gb

I get problems don't now if my boards dying or my gtx 780 I've had to uninstall evga precision as it crashes my games and runs fine when at stock this never used to be a problem I am stressing ha

So how much of a upgrade would it be just for gaming money not a massive issue

Thanks for reading

Yeah sounds like its not stable if ya driver is crashing, before just throwing it all away and going for a full new system, i would probably try and rule out a few components first and try and find out whats causing the problem.

Get everything back down to stock speeds, update windows mobo drivers bios etc then use DDU and then reinstall latest graphics drivers with no overclocking programs.

Try just try going to one stick of ram, and test all your ram sticks to see if you have a dodgey one in there.

Then you could try overclocking CPU and GPU seperately to see which one is causing the problems if its not your ram or drivers doing it.

I would wanna find out whats causing the problems if i could before just replacing everything.

It might also be worth checking that the BIOS is up to date as well. If it is try adding the RAM and then do a BIOS reset and give it another try.

It's been stable for a year with 12 gb 6 x2 sticks this is why it's annoying me it was doing it other day when everthing was stock I think it's memory as I am now down to 6 and it's seems better but 6gb not enough

It's a fresh install and still does it I ran memtest last night while I slept for 8 hours no errors so it's not the memory tested the cpu on Intel burn test for a hour that didn't fail thinking it my be the gpu would black screen with the sound still playing be a dying card I have to force a reboot?

Thanks for your help so far guys many thanks
