X58a - UD3r question

Just built this new computer and going to setup raid 0 array, and install Win 7 x64.

Not sure what drivers though to use when in Win 7 x64 setup. Obviously will be transfer to USB drive, and I am using the ICH10R controller.

if you are using the ICH you wont need a driver

its only the gigabyte Graid [jmicron or whatever] that needs digitally signed drivers.

Grab the Rapid Storage drivers off Intel's website.

Win 7 has built in driver support for the Intel chipset raid - so shouldn't be a problem, unless of course the op would rather use Intels drivers than Microsofts, but you can always update after the install.

since vista - raid has not needed drivers to set up

enable raid in the bios
CTRL+I on start up
create member disks and set volume type
boot off windows disk
see raid volume in setup
highlight
next
