x64 bit.. I bet it has been asked before.....

Hmm. what i was looking for was maybe a more direct experience from some people, like:"Yeah, this makes my BF2 rock and roll" or "Nah, it blows, when I tried to run Fear I got 2 frames per second whereas I get 120 with 32 bit"

The stickies more or less tells me that there might or might not be an improvement, no one knows ;) Sound advise, i take, I am just curious about peoples personal experience with windows x64 and gaming...:) Or have I missed that in the stickie? :(

Hmm think I found it.... 14 pages of peoples experience... Just have to see if any gamers are amongst them. Thanks for the rather obvious hint ;) Forgive my dimwittedness :)

I've been running XP x64 for a few months now and I have found it to be fine for gaming

Some games have extra 64-bit content like HL2 and FarCry too

Check that your printers/etc have drivers though - this is the main issue with Windows x64

Have a read of this thread (I think this is the one you were referring to earlier)

Yup was the thread... I kind of had a blond moment missing the 14 pages only serching through the first one......

From what I read I will choose the 64 bit version. And printers? What are those???
No seriously. I am building a gaming rig. If I need to print I will just send the document to one of my other comps, but thanks for the heads up.
