I am going to get a ROG STRIX X870-I GAMING WIFI mobo next week and I have a question on display output if I use 1 of the USB 4 ports for a KVM.
With a 9950X and a 4070 ti super installed will the display output over USB4 be from the iGPU on the 9950X or the 4070 ti super?
If the output is from the 4070 that makes things a lot simpler as I can just get a USB-C based KVM and run my PC, Laptop, Steam Deck and Switch from the same device

I think USB 4 Type-C display is just piped via DP, so it would come through the IGP, but Ryzen 7000/9000 series CPUs do support passthrough.

Potentially I could use a HDMI/DP to USB-C adapter in the same way I do now for my laptop...

That could be my plan B if it doesn't work

Not familiar with the latest boards and usb4

But my x570 has usb4
But no integrated gpu on my cpu
I have to loop in and out between usb4 and my gpu
Ie from gpu to hdmi input then out of usb4 to monitor

Guess my question is are latest boards
Able to send video directly over usb4
Without looping?
