Hey all,

I have just ran 3dMark06 and i got :

3DMark Score 4778 3DMarks

SM 2.0 Score 1844 Marks

SM 3.0 Score 1811 Marks

CPU Score 2578 Marks

Is this underperforming? Seems a bit low compared to some people.
 
I wouldn't have thought 3dmark was the best thing to test one of these on as its mostly a gpu test, try some games imo.
 
Not a clue matey.. did you do a clean install? Are there any programs running that causes big cpu drain? I would say by the results its not using both cores or the speedstep has knocked down the multiplier and it hasnt returned when running the app...
 
It was a clean install on XP Pro. :confused: Nothing was a big drain when running, CPU usage was 0% before i started. Temps went up to 47C MAX.
 
Go to your ATI control panel and check what your Anti-Aliasing & Anisotropic Filtering settings are, if set to application controlled you will be wanting to set these in the game or in the bench program options.

If you set via the ATI control panel then you are ultimately over-riding any game or bench program settings.

You cannot change these settings in the basic version of 3DM06.

They are both set to Application Controlled.
