odd, im sure i read somewhere that a 3ghz conroe manages super pi 1m in 15 odd seconds. this clock speed should have seen a lot more speed especially with its larger cache.

not sure if conroe scales well at high clock speeds. then again super pi is very memory bandwidth sensitive.

Impressive, so he is running the memory at 1ghz ? Which motherboard is he using, 1600 bus speed is way over spec isnt it

He was using the DFI 975 board previously I think, but I would need to check if that's the one he's still using.
