X6800 different core temps

using TAT I always see that core 0 runs about 6 degrees cooler than core 1

at rest I get 36C / 42C does this mean I need to reseat the cooler and reapply my AS5?

It isn't causing a problem at all, and I wonder if I would just end up getting an average, i.e. both cores at about 39C?

Anyone else get this?

Both cores wont always have the same temp, but the difference is always 1-2 degrees. Never had 6 so far for me.

finally got round to reapplying AS5 and now I get 45 / 51 at rest

third time lucky I hope!

By the looks of it either one core does run hotter or the temp probe reports incorrectly...

probably not, but as it is now 10C hotter than before I would guess I have screwed up applying the AS5, so who knows how hot it might get under load...
