x6800 or QX6700

Hi , which one to go for ? my use would be benchmarking , gaming and general messing about , oh yeah and overclocking. seem about the same price at the moment . QX6800 definatly out of my price range
 
X6800!

X6800 might be a safer bet with the Striker as i heard they can be funny with Quad , but i havent seen any proof on that one
 
QX6600 if going quad, if you really want to go quad - not worth the cost buying anything better.
 
I would definitly recommend the q6600.

X6800 is old technology now :p

Qx6700 isnt worth extra nice imho. Unless you are doing phase or something along the same lines.

H'mm well if their anything like the latest Duel E6600's, I doubt anyone will be jerking about them.
 
Hello. How hot do the quads run. I couldnt give a rats ass about the cost, its just that I have a Zalman 9700 Aero.

How high will be this be on an overclock?

Say for non overclocked playing games and overclocked to 3.0ghz playing games
