Hi all

Was playing with my new baby last night.. With little effort got 4.3ghz stable at 1.25, have upped it to 1.275 to be sure.. Is this OK for 24/7 - do you think 4.4 is possible with these volts?

Thanks in advance guys...

LP

PS cooler is the OCUK Asetek triple slot AIO coller in push config.

Those volts should be ok (temperature dependant) bw-e tends to hit a hard wall sooner than hw-e where pretty much no amount of voltage helps with higher frequencies so you can only try for 4.4 and see if it posts and is stable...

Mine will bench at 4.4 but it wants 1.32 to do so, temps are ok but I've only got slim rads so getting rid of the heat is a challenge!

Sorry for posting in your thread but I am looking to cool a 6950x with the ek predator 240. Would the predator be enough to overclock says 4.3Ghz? Cheers

If your only at 1.25 for 4.3 i would push for 4.4, i bet you could get it for around 1.3v, totally depends on how close you are to the chips max clockspeed i guess.
