How do,
Recently I bought a Fujitsu Siemens notebook and as I like to keep all my drivers up to the very latest I usually look through all the ones on the system builder website and find the latest on the chipset makers site.
Eg: The notebook has a VIA chipset so I look on www.viaarena.com etc.
Now the problem is it wont let me use the official ATI driver and only the one on the fujitsu siemens support which is annoying as its quite out of date now. I noticed you could download a flash update from there as well which used ATIFlash or something.
This got me thinking, could you flash the notebook graphics with a ATI driver compatible BIOS and use the official driver?
If anybody could advise me or point me in the right direction that'd be fantastic. I have experience with video bios flashing (9800 Pro to XT) but can't remember much.
Cheers!
