X79 and LLC

Hello there i was just wondering what the max LLC i can use for this platform on air is. I was running on high with 1.350v for stable 4.6ghz on my i7 3820 beofre. But i've read somewhere it could be doing more harm than good. Anyway i've tried medium LLC and i need around 1.370v to keep it stable. What can i do ?

I never use LLC for 24/7 use and only rarely use medium for benching

^^^^ see my thread on this one. Kaap is on the right lines. The VRM's on X79 are challenged to say the least keep this challenge to a minimum and avoid voltage spikes, heat soak into the socket and throttling.
