Just wondering i tried overclocking my cpu and bust something so am having to use our lasses pc, which is quiet a bit crapper lol, it has a x800 gto2 which admittidly isnt that bad of a card for its age anyways was just wondering *** to use to overclock it a bit i.e. (*** programmes) and and the best drivers for it.
any help would be appreciated, i no this cards old but for the time being until i find wots up with mine i need this pc as im rocking bf2142 allover and need to keep up with the leaders

I used ati tray tools to overclock my old x850xt. Also allows for setting fan speeds. The Omega drivers come with it included. Easy cards to overclock and gains should be good.
Also I'm pretty sure the gto2's can be unlocked to bigger and better things, but you'll need to use the search function to look this up.
 
I have a gto2 and it's not exactly slow. If its unlocked to 16 pipes and you have decent cooling then they clock to huge levels. Mines clocked higher than x850xtpe speeds and runs anything I want at medium to max settings at 1280x1024 depending on the game. ATI Tool is a good overclocking program for this card. If you need to unlock the extra pipes then there is a CD image you can download kicking around somewhere here. I believe Locust on this forum was the man who put it together.

oh and how do i use the cd image, do i burn to disc and just run or is there some other way maybe i could mount using deamon tools or alcholic 120 u can see i have no idea lol never overclocked a ati before had a 6600gt overclocked a little with rivatuner and a 6800gt running nicely at 400/1000 but these ati's i aint got a clue lol
 
right found all the right stuff , flashed it to unlock the 16 pipelines and used atitool to overclock it got it to 510/545 dont think il push it past there as iv only got standard cooling, got an artic cooler on me 6800gt but ill b fixin that tomorrow so ill jus leave it as is cheers for the help jus of t benchmark it now
