Quick one, thanks for any advice:

Have spotted a (plain) X800 for just over £50, am on a budget due to a pitiful wage so this is about my range. Is this reasonable for the money? Am using a crappy CRT monitor so not bothered about cinema scale resolutions cos my monitor makes everything look like a heart monitor anyway.

Thanks for any advice.

PS would either be combining this with Venice 3000 or Sempron 3000, depending upon how many peanuts get thrown my direction this month.

Hi

Welcome to the forums :)

The plain X800 is a good card - faster than the 6600GT, X700Pro, etc

It's about on par with the 6800nu so for £50 it's an absolute bargain

Yup, for an extra £9 you might as well get a brand new one, if the one your getting is not a brand new one of course. :)

Welcome to the forums.
