x800xt - 16 pipes?

My Sapphire x800xt shows as 16 pipes on Everest.
Is this an error as my card is meant to be 12 pipes (I had it from new un modded)

yup it was the x800 pro's that was 12 pipes
the xt's and xtpe's was 16

i loved my x800xt it was a thing of brilliance. was a time aswel where they were a lot cheaper than the 6800ultras.

Just scored 5,800+ on 3d mark 05 unclocked I thought this was a bit high for 12 pipes.
