Going from a X800XT 256mb to a X1950pro agp 256mb, would I see a nice proformance increase?
Worth the upgrade?

I have the X800XT already. The X1950Pro is R2000 here.

You will see roughly a doubling of graphics performance. I recently went from an x800gto2 to an x1900XT 512MB and the performance increase was impressive.

Should do, its probably the best upgrade there is for AGP.

That increase will be absolutely staggering, i went from an x800 XT PE to an x1800 XT 512mb, the performance increase was more than double, i never expected it to be so great.

Ah coolio. Well as soon as my X800XT completely dies, I will place an order for a X1950Pro 256mb.

yeh deffo worth upgraing - my 1900XT will run pretty much anything on full whack - you will notice the diff.

What sort of performance difference would you get going from an 6800GT 256MB AGP to a Sapphire ATi 1950 Pro 512MB AGP? How quiet is the fan?

Man, that upgrade would blow your mind. Seriously. My old man has that and my X800XT is so much faster then it. So from 6800 to X19xx series..
