hello...
something strange is up with my PowerColor X850XT..
When i boot up my PC the clock speed is set to
Core clock: 573.75 MHz
Mem clock: 567.00 MHz
Catalist Control Center wotzit will not lower it past these and it just overheats and crashes if i try to play anthing 3d wize.. I have to use ATI Tool to set it to..
Core clock: 531.00 MHz
Mem clock: 544.50 MHz
wher it runs quite nicely at around 68C no problem..
It's been like this since i used the Catalist Control Center thing that theoreticaly finds the fastes speed it will go.. it reset crashed and has never been the same since.
Ive unnstalled everything, removed the card installed an X550 resinstalled the X850XT but its still the same..
Is it just stuck like that forever or is there something I could try?
Is it just tenuosly hanging on to its last few days of life?
Can anyone help?
