x850xt video output problem

hay im pritty new to the computer world just updated my 1.4duron and geforce2 for a amd athlon 64 3200+, a8n sli deluxe and a x850xt.
im having truble with the svid output on my x850xt . im trying to hook up my tv so i can watch films on it through my computer. ive tryed using latest drivers ect. any ideas?

no ideas? well ive had a look and a chat with a friend who knows more about comuters than me and he thinks it could b the cable im using. im just using a svid to composite converter instead of the vivo cable that normally comes with the graphics card (becouse it wasnt suplied with 1). would this effect my abbility to extend my desktop?

i used an s-video to scart adapter like this to get my old 9800 to display on my old tv properly....

chears ill give that a go. tryed evrything eals. just won't let me choose 2 monitors in the settings.
