X850XTPE, worth it?

I have the possibility of buying a brand new retail boxed ASUS X850XTPE for around £150.

Considering the X1800XT 256 is £85 more on special offer. Except for the higher clocks and some new technology, is the difference huge?

I would say that if you can stretch to it buy the X1800XT, is this for the rig in sig, isnt your rig AGP?

Yes the difference is huge, and as said you are being robbed at that price, the x1800 XT is a stonking card, much faster than the 7800 GT, and also faster than the GTX, pay the extra for the x1800, you won't be dissapointed.

As said above also, the x1800 XT is PCI-E, so if its for the rig in your sig, then you'll need a new mobo.
